Satellite life Coaching was founded in March 2009 by Rebecca Gordon as a Life Coaching and Training Company. As well as focusing on one-to-one coaching, numerous personal and professional development courses have also been delivered, not only in the UK but in the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and Africa. These courses have included ‘Change Management’, ‘Supply Chain Management’, ‘Communication’, ‘Life Skills for Young Girls and Women’ and ‘How to Master Change in Challenging Times’.
Chosen by the Corporate Black Workers Support Group at Birmingham City Council, Satellite Life Coaching has run bespoke workshops at their black history month celebrations focusing on empowerment and personal development.
In 2015, ‘The Black Women’s Voyage’ was founded as an online platform to support black women on the journey of personal development from their own world view. As an extension from this, ‘Let’s Start A… Conversation With Black Women’ was established based on the inspiration by Dr Shani Byard, who agreed to this concept being developed in the UK by Rebecca.
Lead Life Coach, Rebecca Gordon has frequently been invited to BBC WM to give the late night thought on the chat back programme with Joe Aldred and Nikki Tapper.
Recently Satellite Life Coaching has been requested to train new Mentors and Coaches specifically for working in schools. The Course ‘Becoming a Life Coach’ was written to develop and enhance the skills of potential Life Coaches and provides in depth information within several modules that instills confidence in anyone who is new to coaching or who is starting out in this profession. This course is available to be delivered within organizations and communities upon request.
